Using ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) Patient Placement Criteria for the Treatment of Substance-Related Disorders, Second Edition and DSM-V®-TR, develop a diagnostic evaluation of your client’s substance abuse/or non-abuse and any coexisting conditions based on the results of all assessments

Recommendations: DWI/and or Drug Education Class, Victim Impact or/ MAAD Panel, Chemical Dependency Treatment or any other appropriate services.

Explain the level of care to the client using the results of his or her assessment in a manner understandable to the client.

Obtain corroborative information from secondary sources such as family members and any other pertinent individual.
